Cost and Insurance Information
We understand that the financial side of counseling is an important factor when deciding to begin therapy. At Watershed Counseling in Jackson, MS, we aim to make the process clear and straightforward so you can focus on what truly matters: your healing and growth.
Counseling Session Rates
Our self-pay rates range from $100–$250 per session, depending on the counselor and type of service.
Many clients choose self-pay for flexibility or privacy. If you prefer to use your insurance, we are in-network with several major providers.
Insurance Coverage
Your coverage depends on your individual policy, but here are a few important terms to know:
Copay – A fixed amount you pay for each counseling session.
Coinsurance – A percentage of the cost you pay after meeting your deductible.
Deductible – The amount you must pay out of pocket before insurance begins covering services.
In-Network Provider – A counselor who has a contract with your insurance company to provide services at a discounted rate.
Out-of-Network Provider – A counselor who is not contracted with your insurance company. Many policies will still reimburse a portion of the cost, so it’s worth checking your out-of-network benefits.
Not sure what your benefits cover? Our administrative team can help you navigate your insurance and understand your options before your first appointment.
